Responsible Disclosure
Effective date: July 13, 2026 · Better Practice Consulting Inc., Caloocan City, Philippines
1. Our commitment to security
Doctors trust us with sensitive financial information, and we take that seriously. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in the Better Practice website, app, or infrastructure, we want to hear from you, and we commit to working with you in good faith.
2. How to report
Email support@betterpractice.ph with a description of the issue, the steps to reproduce it, and, where relevant, the URL or app screen involved. Please include a way to reach you. We aim to acknowledge reports within five business days.
3. What we ask of you
- Give us reasonable time to investigate and fix the issue before any public disclosure.
- Do not access, modify, or download data that is not yours; use test accounts wherever possible.
- Do not degrade the service for others (no denial-of-service testing, spam, or social engineering of our staff or clients).
- Act in good faith and within the law.
4. What you can expect from us
If you act in good faith and follow this policy, we will not initiate a legal complaint or civil action against you for your research. We cannot waive any criminal liability that the State may pursue under the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10175), which treats unauthorized access as a public offense; this policy is our own commitment not to pursue you, not a grant of legal immunity. We aim to keep you informed of our progress, will credit you for the discovery if you wish once the issue is resolved, and will fix verified issues as quickly as their severity allows.
5. Scope
This policy covers betterpractice.ph and its subdomains and the Better Practice mobile app. It does not cover systems operated by third parties, including our Zoho booking portal (zohobookings.com) and our CRM and hosting providers. Vulnerabilities in those platforms should be reported to the provider that operates them, under their own disclosure policies.
